Three years’ experience or training/education in production and/or quality control
Ability to stand, walk, talk or hear regularly
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
Ability to sit or smell occasionally
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Tolerance for work environment including wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock
Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of quality assurance testing of finished product in accordance with company standard procedures, including rubber ring testing, impact, quick burst, flattening, brabender, long term testing, and all other required QA testing
Complete paperwork and reports as needed
Use a variety of tools and instruments to assess and inspect product
Check the quality of finished goods, including those loaded for delivery and returned goods for acceptance to stock
Review stocked pipe periodically and identify damaged product to be removed from inventory
Maintain work area clean and free from safety hazards
Perform other duties as assigned to assist in daily plant operations
