Requirements

Strong Linux + Kubernetes skills for debugging production issues (networking, storage, rollouts, performance)
IaC experience (Terraform/Helm/Ansible) for shipping repeatable infrastructure
Proficiency in Go or Python (plus Bash) for automating and building tools
Blockchain operations knowledge: JSON-RPC internals, running/tuning RPC/validator nodes, log analysis
Observability expertise: SLOs/error budgets, Prometheus/Grafana instrumentation
Strong networking fundamentals (DNS/TLS/LB), ability to reason about anycast/BGP
Production experience with EVM (Geth/Erigon/Nethermind/Besu), Cosmos SDK/CometBFT, Solana (Agave/QUIC), or Substrate
Multi-cloud experience with capacity & cost modeling
Clear production ownership: blast radius understood, rollback plans ready
SLO thinking with measurable improvements in alert noise, latency, or MTTR
Real RPC/validator ops experience (beyond demos)
Tooling/code contributions that improved ops (Go/Python, IaC modules, upstream fixes)
Ability to explain complex failures simply and simplify systems

Responsibilities

Launch & upgrade chains: standups, hard-forks, snapshots, pruning, clean rollbacks
Automate everything: modules, golden images, CI/CD, zero-touch deploys across regions
Run Kubernetes at scale: safe rollouts, HPA/VS/ingress tuning, capacity & cost planning
Own incidents: lead SEV0–2, publish RCAs, ship preventive changes
Build observability: SLOs/error budgets, useful dashboards, alerts that page only when users are impacted
Code tools where needed: snapshots, replay/load, state sync checks; patch client bugs and upstream fixes
Ship IaC changes, build dashboards, own chains/subsystems, kill flaky alerts, close recurring issues
Lead upgrades/cutovers with clean rollbacks, publish RCAs with preventive code/infrastructure changes
