Requirements

  • B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related
  • 8 to 14 years of experience in the mentioned technical skills and Functional Safety
  • Experience in software development Functional Safety (ISO 26262) compliant
  • Prior experience in designing and programming microcontrollers and processors
  • Very good knowledge of tools for programming microcontrollers and microprocessors
  • Team oriented
  • Honesty in relation with company, customers and co-workers
  • Preferred: Availability as required

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze Functional Safety (FuSa) requirements
  • Analyze and review Safety mechanisms
  • Support SW Architect in developing SW architecture that is FuSa compliant
  • Perform Safety analysis (Dependent Failure analysis & FMEA/FTA) based on Software Safety Requirement
  • Support FS validation plan defining
  • Continuous development of professional qualifications
  • Support innovation and organization programs
  • Care for good company image
  • Care for confidential information and company’s property
  • Utilize expertise in embedded systems design and development to implement and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) for automotive electronic control units (ECUs)
  • Customize and configure BSP components such as device drivers, bootloaders to meet specific project requirements and ECU specifications
  • Implement BSPs for QNX or FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS operating systems, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility with automotive software stacks and applications
  • Configure kernel parameters, device drivers, and system utilities to support ECU functionality and meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements
  • Configure and integrate tools such as JIRA and Polarion to streamline development workflows and ensure software quality and reliability
  • Conduct BSP verification activities and adhere to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process requirements for software development and quality assurance
  • Perform static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing of BSP components to verify compliance with functional safety standards and ECU specifications
