Requirements

Proven experience in a technical leadership or similar senior role, with a strong background in AI/ML engineering, MLOps and productionization
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Kubeflow, Vertex AI, BigQuery, or similar tools
Solid understanding of core AI/ML concepts, including Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Image Processing, and Forecasting
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
Responsible for building, servicing and maintaining APIs and streaming platforms, ensuring reliable integration, optimized performance, and smooth service delivery
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving abilities, capacity to learn, evolve with the changing AI landscape and a strategic mindset

Responsibilities

Lead AI Product Development: Guide and mentor a team of engineers in the end-to-end development of AI-based products, from conception to deployment
Strategic Planning & Execution: Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable technical plans and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Qoria's overall business objectives
Technical Leadership: Drive architectural decisions and best practices for AI solutions, primarily leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products
Project Management: Utilize JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools to effectively manage the project lifecycle, track progress, and ensure timely delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
Mentorship and Growth: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the team, providing guidance and support to help each member grow
Hands-on Contribution: Contribute to code development, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot complex technical issues as needed
