Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of risk management and mitigation practices (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of Banking procedures and regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
- A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience (preferred)
- Related Industry qualification or studying towards (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Focus on resolution of complex transactions interpreting policies, guidelines and/or processes
- Identify and document new procedures and controls
- Provide on-the-job technical training and coaching for analysts
- Provide input to process changes which would result in greater operational efficiency
- Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
- Direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
- Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
- Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (not a formal management role)
- Facilitate discussions and reach decisions
