Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and review Canadian and U.S. tax compliance, including corporate income tax, indirect tax (e.g., GST/HST, VAT, Sales & Use Tax), informational tax filings, withholding tax filings, and other statutory filings across Canada and the U.S
Prepare, analyze, and review Canadian and U.S. tax provisions and nexus analysis
Analyze and review global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, indirect tax (e.g., GST/HST, VAT, Sales & Use Tax), informational tax filings, withholding tax filings, and other statutory filings across global jurisdictions (Europe, Australia, etc.)
Research, analyze, and prepare documentation on global tax matters to support global expansion planning
Manage cross-border tax activities
Oversee tax filings across multiple jurisdictions including Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Australia
Manage tax provisions and nexus analysis
Partner with external advisors to identify tax optimization opportunities
Work closely with the Senior Manager, Tax, internal finance and operations teams, external tax advisors, and tax authorities including the CRA and IRS
Provide comprehensive tax compliance, planning, and advisory support across global operations
