Requirements
Candidates must possess a TS/SCI eligible clearance and be willing to obtain a polygraph. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required, along with DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred) within 30 days of contract start. The role requires at least 4 years of relevant technical experience, including 2 years of AWS production delivery (Azure experience considered), 2 years of Linux development and production delivery, and 2 years of experience with Agile programs for Government programs. Additionally, candidates need Systems Integration Engineering experience with modern application development, experience configuring and managing hosting environments, expertise in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, .net, or C#), experience automating tasks with tools like Ansible, experience with database backup and restore, and experience writing enterprise-level technical documentation. Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira or GitLab/GitHub Issues is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Systems Integration Engineer will support customer meetings and quarterly Agile Development Planning, providing technical support for the planning, design, testing, integration, configuration, and delivery of software services. Responsibilities include developing and delivering new capabilities, supporting existing infrastructure and applications, and adding new data sources to secure mission systems. This involves installing and configuring cloud resources, automating provisioning with cloud and database engineers, validating documentation, and creating/updating scripts for cloud and Linux-based operations. The role also includes developing test data, performing system testing, documenting all phases of the application development lifecycle, and monitoring/managing system resources for optimal performance. Serving as a team expert for the design, setup, configuration, maintenance, and administration of Elastic, WSUS, or Red Hat Satellite Servers is also a key responsibility.
