Requirements

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a seasoned systems engineering team, delivering high quality products and artifacts in strict accordance with the program’s Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) and associated processes
Nine or more years of professional experience in Systems Engineering or a closely related discipline
Deep expertise in developing ICDs and IDDs that are fully compliant with DIDs and DoD requirements
Extensive experience (implied from context, as description cuts off)

Responsibilities

Lead in authoring and designing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Documents (IDDs)
Establish new interfaces between external elements, including sensors, and other Command and Control Systems
Ensure ICDs and IDDs created are to appropriate standards required of the program
Develop various behavioral diagrams to understand and document the requirements
Develop, update, and maintain multiple ICDs and IDDs
Attend interface working group meetings with the external MDA customer and representatives of assigned external element engineering organization
Support program integration and test related efforts for the associated interface
Support other Interface Engineers in developing ICDs for other Missile Defense Systems Elements
Support requirements engineering, use case development, and logical architecture modeling tasks as SE department tasking requires
Support leadership (internal and external), developers, and testers with messages and interface rules (transmit, receive, processing) questions and test findings
