Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Maths, Technology, Computing or General Science discipline (minimum 2:2)
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Able to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Undertake four six-month placements over two years, working on a variety of projects
  • Apply the Systems Engineering ‘V’ model across the whole product lifecycle
  • Research future technologies and novel domains
  • Develop requirements and functional architectures
  • Create concept solutions through Agile methodologies
  • Analyse performance and conduct trade space studies
  • Conduct verification and validation through trials and lab tests
  • Potentially undertake one six-month placement in another part of the company, with a defence supplier, MOD, or international office
