Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Working experience of 6 to 10 years
Very strong system programming background with C/C++/Golang for large enterprise class software
Prior experience handling support for customer issues/escalations
Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming
In-depth knowledge of OS internals, networking, and storage concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience designing software systems running on multiple platform types
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
Systems Engineer with expertise in Enterprise storage product

Responsibilities

Analyze issues in customer deployments of the product/solution and recommend workarounds/fixes as part of L4 support
Improve/stabilize codebase releases through targeted code fixes and minor enhancements
Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including IO path, storage management, databases, and cloud-related applications
Triage and fix customer issues as part of minor releases
Collaborate with cross-organizational teams (Hardware, Firmware, System management, Network teams, Architects, etc.) to arrive at the best solutions
Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture
Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of system; identify, debug, and create solutions for issues with code and integration
Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and external partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution
Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug system software programs for enhancements and new products for storage systems
Develop system/platform software for enabling different components on storage arrays
