Requirements

Experience working in Linux environment
Strong background in Mathematics and Physics
Working knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, Command and Control (C2) systems, defense communication systems, the Missile Defense System (MDS) in general, and Space Domain Awareness
Experience with object-oriented coding language (i.e. Python, Java, etc.)
Experience manipulating and working with large data sets
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college
Full Time/ On-Site at Schriever Base in Colorado Springs, CO
Secret clearance
DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II
Willingness to travel as needed (less than 10%) and work some non-standard hours due to test event schedules

Responsibilities

Support the evaluation of system performance through the development of metrics, statistical analysis, and data-driven insights
Identify patterns and trends in test datasets using statistical methods and modeling techniques to validate hypotheses
Contribute to technical problem-solving, tool development, and provide actionable insights to the test team and decision-makers
Collaborate with the development team to communicate findings and assist in anomaly resolution
Utilize experience in data visualization, simulation, and software tool maintenance
