Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and integrating complex systems, preferably in the defence industry
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Experience developing requirement sets, and an ability to agree these collaboratively with different stakeholder groups including System Design Authorities and Government organisations
  • Project engineering knowledge to be able to design and deliver work packages
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship (security clearance requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team in support of integration (physical / functional) of an MBDA land product into a wider Ground Based Air Defence Weapon System context
  • Report to the Head of Systems of Systems Integration across work streams related to the PILICA+ programme
  • Work with the Polish customer to define and agree the Land Ceptor Requirements for a Projects Phase 2 programme
  • Serve as the main point of contact to the Polish customer on P+ technical issues related to System of System activities
  • Lead regular (monthly) technical working groups with the Polish customer including co-ordinating with engineering teams on required inputs
  • Co-ordinate and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team on technical issues, queries and conflict resolution including co-ordinating responses to and from the customer and industrial partners
