Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems software development for safety-critical systems
  • Minimum 5 years of experience hands-on programming C embedded software
  • Minimum 5 years of experience hands-on testing and debugging C embedded software
  • Excellent technical and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed design documents and develop code for embedded software modules following software design and construction processes
  • Perform and participate in software design and code reviews
  • Create and execute Unit Test and Integration Test plans for software functions
  • Perform or support the integration of low-level software modules and hardware bring-up activities
  • Manage activities using configuration management and issue tracking tools
  • Support the Hardware team development of the electronics platform and Hardware-Software Interface
  • Support development of software requirements and software architecture
  • Analyze and optimize resources including runtime, ROM, RAM, and Non-Volatile Memory
  • Execute the software development process and make improvements to process and infrastructure
  • Participate in cross-functional project planning and review events
  • Coach team members to promote best practices and continuous improvement
