Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in investment management, sustainable finance, or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated capabilities in Excel and financial information systems (e.g. Blackrock Solutions, FactSet)
  • Experience working with commercial ESG data sets and understanding of climate-related financial risk and/or scenario analysis
  • Sound working knowledge of investment strategies and capital markets across multiple asset classes
  • Demonstrated understanding of and passion for sustainable finance, including familiarity with global sustainable investing regulations, frameworks, and voluntary initiatives (e.g. SFDR, TCFD, Net Zero)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research into trends and opportunities in sustainable investing across investor, regulatory, and competitive landscapes, as well as leading data-driven analysis of investment products and opportunities. Synthesize findings into actionable insights, recommendations, and project plans in collaboration with SEI’s sustainable investing, sustainable research, and investment strategy teams
  • Support the development and management of sustainable investment products and solutions through targeted analysis, while maintaining a primary focus on client needs and regulatory priorities. Collaborate with investment strategy, legal and compliance, and client service teams to support end-to-end solutions
  • Manage sustainability and ESG data and analytics in partnership with SEI’s Data and Risk Management teams to support consistent application of insights and analysis across SEI. Evaluate future data needs and maintain relationships with external vendors and data providers
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain regulatory sustainability reporting for financial products across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating closely with investment product and operations teams to develop efficient tools and systems for required deliverables
  • Strengthen client relationships by contributing to the development of enhanced sustainability reporting for both traditional and mission-aligned client portfolios
  • Support integration of sustainability information into investment risk management practices and oversight activities
  • Contribute to sustainable investing communications and materials for internal and client audiences, including written reports, training content, presentations, and RFP responses
  • Contribute to voluntary reporting and disclosure efforts including corporate sustainability reporting, CDP, UK Stewardship Code, and Principles for Responsible Investment
