Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably with an emphasis in Business, Supply Chain or Operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry, with experience in one or more of the following preferred: supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, production planning, project management
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems specifically related to materials requirements planning, distribution planning, production planning, or inventory control. Experience with SAP is a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and turn data into information

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team (20%), build partnerships, provide support and transparency on supply/demand constraints, shipping/receiving capabilities, and ensure Supply Chain flexibility aligns with plant requirements. Act as main point of contact for plant’s Supply Chain strategy topics
  • Manage and coordinate the local Supply Chain team (20%), ensure development paths for team members, coordinate projects and initiatives, interface/escalate employee issues to Supply Chain Director and Plant Manager
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practice projects (10%) in Customer Service, Receiving, Shipping, Warehouse, Planning; engage team members as active contributors
  • Collaborate with planning and warehouse teams (10%) to manage inventory levels, meet days on hand and overall inventory goals, mitigate risks of excess or stockout
  • Own On-Time-Delivery performance, non-PM Inventory Turns, and other KPIs (10%); perform operational forecasts based on Sales and Finance input; prepare for Sales and Operations Planning process deployment
  • Act as SAP subject matter expert (15%), manage end-to-end supply chain processes, perform analysis and corrections of master/transactional data, drive ERP improvements, guide team to become more knowledgeable users
  • Support precious metal inventory and related processes (10%) alongside Operations and Finance teams
  • Other tasks as assigned/needed (5%)
