Responsibilities

  • Supports the collection of supplier Quality performance information in order to monitor supplier performance
  • Reviews part specifications to define, create and set up Inspection Plans to ensure correct parts are received and verified for product quality prior to release for manufacturing
  • Monitors and updates part quality settings for inspection routing (JDE) and assignment of inspection criteria (TIPQA)
  • Supports management of nonconforming materials through problem investigation, reporting activity or segregation of nonconforming parts assigned as the Supplier’s responsibility
  • Assists Quality Engineers in determining supplier at fault issues from production, and interfacing with SQE's on Corrective Action issuance
