Responsibilities

Manage a team of 6-10 Processors, Investigators, or Material Damage Analysts, providing overall guidance, technical direction, production, and outcomes
Oversee team’s performance management and promotional eligibility
Engage with clients on day-to-day operational management, including document handling, inquiries, and lender-specific workflows/processes
Direct and monitor team work: manage assignments, monitor pending inventory (aging, cycle times, inactivity, closures), ensure recovery/production targets are met
Provide technical direction and training for team positions
Monitor individual team member performance to maintain production levels and meet departmental goals
Complete performance appraisals timely and to standards
Address performance issues, up to and including termination
Monitor and support associates eligible for promotion
Ensure QA measures are met within the team
Maintain day-to-day operational contacts with lenders: handle document requests/follow-up, hold/release requests (salvage/repossession titles), provide feedback on inquiries/reporting, deliver reporting, maintain client-specific workflows
Act as hiring manager: work with HR to screen candidates, perform interviews, provide feedback, develop initial training plans, organize resources
Provide direct training to new associates (including outside team roles) and monitor training progress to meet targets
Monitor ongoing training needs due to workflow/process or regulation changes
Participate in process improvement projects: new process development/testing, existing process modification/testing, work with vendors/suppliers, provide feedback on workflows to Director and above
