Interns must work full-time Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM and complete the entirety of the 10-week program; no remote option is mentioned.
Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (preferably in Accounting), demonstrate enthusiasm for NYCEDC's mission, written/verbal/analytical skills, experience with Excel/PowerPoint/Word, detail-orientation, multitasking, and ability to work in teams.
Interns join a class of undergraduate and graduate students, work on projects in dynamic departments, rotate between accounting pillars, and participate in training, networking, and professional development opportunities in a collaborative environment.
Strong candidates are enrolled in (or recent graduates of) an Accounting program, show enthusiasm for NYCEDC's mission of inclusive economic growth, have strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency, and can multitask in team settings.
