Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship and at least one additional semester following internship
  • Pursuing at least a master’s level degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UI/UX Design, Psychology, or related major
  • Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (e.g., extracurricular activities or projects)
  • Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
  • Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hrs. per week) intern position

Responsibilities

  • Assist the UX research team with preparing user studies and research sessions
  • Take detailed notes during usability tests and interviews
  • Help analyze and synthesize research findings to identify patterns and insights
  • Support documentation and reporting of research outcomes for the design team
  • Apply principles of human-computer interaction and psychology to improve user experience
  • Use Airtable (database building, forms, automation)
  • Use Dovetail (tagging, insights synthesis, repository organization)
  • Handle basic research operations or documentation workflows (templates, SOPs, intake forms, study tracking)
  • Handle structured data and help maintain controlled vocabularies/glossaries
  • Support multi-team collaboration (Design, Clinical, Marketing, Compliance)
  • Help maintain the UX Research repository (Dovetail) including tagging, codebook organization, and metadata cleanup
  • Support development of Research Ops materials, intake forms, screener templates, SOP drafts, checklists
  • Assist in building and maintaining Airtable-based participant databases and operational dashboards
  • Support cross-functional research tasks with Design, Product, and Clinical teams
  • Help prepare research deliverables (playback decks, summaries, & documentation packages)
