The compensation ranges from a minimum of $25.00 to a maximum of $39.00 per hour. Interns may also be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending on proximity to an AmFam office.
This role may be considered for a Full-Time in Office or Hybrid work arrangement based on the selected candidate's location, with work locations in Madison, WI or Boston, MA.
Candidates need a solid understanding of Hybrid Quantum-classical methods (e.g., VQA's) and Quantum Machine learning, experience with Python, SKLearn, and quantum computing frameworks like Cirq, Qiskit, or Tensor Networks. Experience with AWS and/or GCP is helpful.
Interns work on impactful projects with 1-2 mentors, gain exposure to different business areas, have networking and coaching opportunities, and develop understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture, and structure.
Strong candidates must be students at an accredited 4-year college or university graduating August 2026 or later, pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a major aligned with the role, and possess the specified quantum computing and programming skills.
