Requirements
Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated from Creative Productions, Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field, or have acquired the necessary skills through self-study or non-traditional courses. Strong programming skills in Python and/or other scripting languages, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and excellent problem-solving skills are required. Prior experience with VFX software such as Maya, Houdini, or Nuke, and an understanding of VFX production workflows would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
The Studio Technology Internship - Pipeline Technical Director Intern will assist in the development of custom tools and scripts using Python and/or other scripting languages to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency. They will collaborate with the Pipeline TD team to enhance and expand production pipelines, integrate third-party software, provide technical support to artists and production teams, document workflows, and stay updated on industry trends while addressing production challenges.
