Requirements

Self-starter with 10+ years proven experience in program management, system administration, analytics, and open community operations
Strong understanding of software design & development
BA or BS undergraduate degree
Previous experience with open source software and other open technology communities
Knowledge of open licensing and intellectual property concepts
Strong programming and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash scripting, Jenkins)
Familiarity with open source compliance tools and processes, including SBOM management
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage diverse responsibilities and priorities
Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate and train teams and communities

Responsibilities

AI Proposal Review: Evaluate and review AI-related proposals to ensure alignment with compliance and strategic priorities
System Administration: Maintain and administer critical infrastructure used by the Open Program Office to ensure team-dependent infrastructure remains operational
Engineering Seminars: Organize and lead webinars and workshops to expand open technology training within HPE
Community Analytics Analysis: Analyze open community data to provide insights and recommendations
Inner Sourcing: Assist in planning and execution of Inner Sourcing events and office hours to foster collaboration across teams
Ad Hoc Reports/Consulting: Provide reports and consulting as needed to HPE teams
OSS Advisor/Selection Tool: Develop and enhance tools for advising and selecting OSS projects, as bandwidth permits
