Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
  • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
  • Predominantly walking or standing; talk and hear; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Safe driving and navigation ability
  • Ability to use delivery board system
  • Operating inventory systems (back stock) and store equipment
  • Automotive parts experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers
  • Pick up returns and cores
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
  • Daily collection of credit accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
  • Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
  • Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
  • General stocking including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts
  • Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
  • Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
  • Other duties as assigned
