Requirements

Strong background in Storage & Backup administration
Understanding of various Storage & Backup services
Experience in large, geographically dispersed enterprise environments
Experience supporting multi-datacenter stretch clusters
Knowledge of Backup software integration/configuration with common applications (e.g., SQL, Oracle, VMWare, NAS shares)
Experience with Backup (Data Domain/Avamar/PPDM/Cloud Native)
Understanding of high availability architecture and data replication for disaster recovery

Responsibilities

Provide operational support and implementation services for backup and recovery, high availability architecture, and data replication for disaster recovery
Lead and coordinate Backup (Data Domain/Avamar/PPDM/Cloud Native) technical and business discussions
Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Drive Infrastructure Operations to never have to fix the same problem twice through adoption of AI OPS, Event Driven Automation, and robust Observability
Accelerate initiatives in areas such as: Infrastructure AI OPS automation, cloud IaaS management, and cloud infrastructure as code
Transform operations processes using proactive, predictive, and automated AI & Observability capabilities
Help enable the Lilly Technology strategy, identifying tech opportunities, and accelerate the AI OPS journey
