Successfully complete and maintain forklift certification as required
Ability to work 12 hr. on-shift nights in a full-time role
Ability to travel to the warehouse to deliver and retrieve parts as needed

Responsibilities

Follows and enforces storeroom best practices to optimize spare part inventory to meet the business need
Manages parts counter and assists customers when needed to locate and check out parts
Distributes storeroom materials in accordance with requisition forms
Performs cycle counts to verify inventory vs min/max limits
Owns inventory flow by restocking shelves, issuing parts to work orders, delivering parts, and receiving returned parts back into stock
Fulfills parts reservations (parts kitting) for upcoming planned work
Works with Storeroom Leader/Buyer to reduce on-hand inventory through the optimization of min/max order quantities and managing slow-moving and obsolete parts
Works with external vendors to identify and procure parts, including seeking new parts to improve machine reliability and standardize spare parts
Conducts daily housekeeping procedures in the storeroom and maintains 5S areas to standard
