Experience handling stock, materials, and operating a fork truck
Ability to use hand trucks, carts, and various material handling equipment
Ability to physically lift and move material up to 70 pounds (50 pounds frequently)
Willingness to climb ladders and work at various heights
Ability to stand or walk during the entire shift duration
Availability for shift work/staggering shifts between 6 AM and 6 PM
Computer literacy, including sending/receiving email and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to use handheld scanning technology and learn inventory management system for processing transactions
Good math skills and effective communication skills
Valid motor vehicle operator's license, with ability to obtain CDL B within 6 months of start date

Availability for emergency response duties
Adherence to Eversource safety policies and procedures
Successful completion of Eversource Time Merit Progression (TMP) training program

Warehousing and stocking of various materials
Maintaining accurate material tracking through an inventory management system
Preloading/packing material on trucks and unloading items to be warehoused
Coordinating accurate stocking of material
Carrying out order functions as requested
Operating forklift, hand truck, cart, or other equipment for material movement
Picking orders using ladders and working at heights
Coordinating with responsible parties to verify ordered equipment accuracy
Reporting damaged/potentially damaged materials to appropriate individuals
Lifting and lowering stock up to 70 pounds (50 pounds frequently)
Coordinating orders and deliveries with responsible individuals
Verifying stock accuracy if requested
Receiving storeroom inventory and reordering materials
Using handheld scanning technology and personal computer to process stores transactions
Maintaining accurate inventory records using Inventory Management System
