Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of related work experience
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience; Accounting or Finance degree preferred
  • Experience with MS365, CoPilot, Oracle, Tableau Prep or Alteryx, OneSource Income Tax, and CCH AnswerConnect preferred
  • CPA or other financial designations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain tax information, records, and relevant work papers for compliance
  • Prepare tax returns, estimates, extensions, and other required reports accurately and on time
  • Prepare annual personal property tax renditions
  • Perform quarterly and annual state tax provision tasks as well as SOX control tasks
  • Proactively implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations and prepare technical documents on their impact on Vanguard's tax operations
  • Prepare correspondence and interact with external tax agencies, consultants, and auditors
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
