Requirements

  • HBO- or WO-student in Journalistiek, Communicatie, Media & Cultuur or a similar program
  • Strong writing skills with attention to tone of voice and target audience
  • Full of ideas and not afraid to share them
  • Lives on Instagram and TikTok, communicates in memes
  • Accurate, proactive, and quick to learn online tools (CMS, social dashboards)
  • Understands the Flair woman (and perhaps is a bit like her)
  • Sense of language and humor, knows current trends
  • Available from January for at least 4-5 days per week for the duration of the internship
  • Experience on a similar editorial team is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Come up with topics that appeal to the target audience, pitch ideas to colleagues, conduct interviews, and write articles
  • Contribute to and work on social formats: from Instagram Reels to TikToks, from idea to execution and publication
  • Respond to and communicate with followers, brainstorm on improving the community, and analyze what works (and what doesn't)
  • Participate in brainstorming during editorial meetings, help with content planning, and adapt print stories to online
  • Optionally: attend events, create videos, or set up your own column (as long as it energizes you)
