Requirements

  • Following an HBO or WO education in journalism, marketing, media, creative business, or communication
  • Accurate and with an eye for detail
  • Affinity with puzzles and online platforms
  • Shows initiative and dares to take responsibility
  • Quickly picks up new systems, and some experience with AI is a plus
  • Available for at least five months starting January 2026, 32 to 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and updating articles written by journalists from various editorial teams
  • Presenting articles in apps like Puzzelfit using banners according to the publication schedule
  • Collecting feedback from various sources and using it to improve the puzzle experience for users
  • Making content as findable as possible for subscribers of the titles
  • Letting as many people as possible get to know the beautiful things created by the department in the field of puzzles and games
  • Thinking along about visual expressions of puzzles and games, and generating new ideas for articles
  • Generating/formatting images for prize puzzles
  • Helping with the analysis of content: what can be improved, what is done well
  • Looking at the possibilities that AI offers for the work
  • Collaborating with journalists and creators to produce articles and content about puzzles and games (e.g., why puzzling is healthy, how puzzles are made, stories behind new games)
  • Contributing to publishing puzzles on platforms like AD.nl, NU.nl, Libelle, Margriet, Flair, and Puzzelfit app
