Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with network infrastructure management and system development
  • 5+ years of development experience, preferably in a modern language (Golang, Rust, TypeScript, etc)
  • Expert knowledge of advanced network security and administration (Subnetting, VLAN, VXLAN, SDN, etc)
  • Deep knowledge of one or more network device OEM hardware and software management (Cisco ISE, PAN, Juniper, etc)
  • Strong understanding of system design, infrastructure, and administration
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (i.e. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and configuration management
  • Experience with artifact management (i.e. Artifactory) and industry standard tooling for both general purpose and language specific package formats (Linux package management, cargo, go build, npm, maven/gradle, etc)
  • Experience with certificate issuance and management (PKI, x.509, RSA/ECC/DSA, TLS/SSL protocols, etc)
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools (WhatsUp Gold, Solarwinds, Datadog, Prometheus, etc)
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Makefile)
  • Experience with cross-functional Product Teams

Responsibilities

  • Work with the cross-functional team to help design and implement a stable and resilient framework to integrate with multiple vendor firewalls
  • Understand the expectations and requirements of our customers, especially Enterprise IT teams who administer the network security in our customers’ environments
  • Ensure best practices for network security are considered at every phase of feature development
  • Provide technical insight during system design, implementation, and troubleshooting with a mind toward customer network stability and security
  • Develop solutions that work cohesively with our current product offerings
  • Proactively leverage AI-assisted tooling to improve the speed, efficiency, and stability of your work
