Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (BTech/BE with 4 years of experience) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in backend development and 2+ years specifically utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, and Amazon AWS. Furthermore, they should have 2+ years of development experience within the DICOM Healthcare domain, along with a strong foundation in distributed system design and proficiency in at least one general-purpose backend language and one frontend language, demonstrating a willingness to learn new technologies.
The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for designing complex systems and architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of those systems, and planning technical projects with milestone deliverables. They will coordinate engineers, build impactful technical solutions, conduct code reviews, debug difficult issues, research new technologies, evaluate technical options, and create documentation. Additionally, they will collaborate cross-functionally, communicate complex technical concepts, and troubleshoot issues effectively within a distributed architecture, while also contributing to training materials and tech talks to share knowledge with the broader engineering organization.
