Responsibilities
The Staff Software Engineer will develop, innovate, and ship new Firefox features through installs, updates, and improved OS integrations. They will also improve the ease of use and security of Firefox in large deployments by developing better administration tools. Responsibilities include assessing work that supports the team and product roadmap, making insightful recommendations on priorities, and working with expert software engineers to deepen understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. The role involves optimizing Firefox quality by fixing software defects and working with a geographically-distributed development team.
