Responsibilities

Define and drive the long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for core backend services
Lead the design and implementation of highly-scalable, highly-available, and secure microservices using Java/Spring Boot
Architect and build reusable libraries, frameworks, and technology platforms for common multi-use cases across the engineering organization
Define, enforce, and advocate for engineering best practices, coding standards, and systematic thinking across the platform group
Hold end-to-end service ownership for performance, security, availability, scalability, and other "ilities" of microservices
Own and drive operational readiness, improving SLO, SLI, and SLA of production services
Lead complex incident management, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), reactive fixes, and long-term solutions
Provide expert-level L3 engineering support for challenging production issues
Provide technical mentorship, coaching, and guidance to engineers, removing roadblocks and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture
Collaborate seamlessly with Product and cross-functional teams
