Requirements

Experience as a Staff-level Software Engineer, capable of supporting a group of talented engineers and managers
Expertise in designing, building, and operating reliable, scalable systems in-house (e.g., subscription, e-commerce, fulfillment, delivery)
Ability to solve hard problems related to evolving systems for rapid growth, building flexible platforms for diverse customer needs, and creating novel product experiences

Responsibilities

Support a group of talented engineers and managers across teams ("pawds") in building reliable, scalable systems
Have direct impact on scaling the business through technology
Solve novel customer problems for humans and dogs
Build strong relationships while working collaboratively
Design, build, and operate in-house systems powering subscription, e-commerce, fulfillment, and delivery for optimal customer experiences
Contribute to evolving systems for rapid growth and flexible platforms serving diverse needs
Create innovative product experiences that didn’t exist before
Align with company goals, orient around customer problems holistically with cross-functional expertise, and drive meaningful impact
