Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years focused on developing applications for Linux and cloud-based, high-traffic systems. Strong coding skills in C++ are required, alongside knowledge of RESTful APIs and the HTTP protocol. Familiarity with technologies such as gRPC or WebSockets, and a solid grasp of system design principles, programming fundamentals, and experience with microservice-based and distributed architectures are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Development Engineer will own the definition, design, implementation, testing, delivery, monitoring, and reliability of multiple core components to ensure optimal browser streaming experiences for customers. They will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop scalable, secure, and extensible technical solutions for cloud applications, writing high-quality, testable, maintainable, and secure code while integrating appropriate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Furthermore, they will foster team growth through mentoring and knowledge sharing, taking full ownership of deployed services including on-call responsibilities, and focusing on continuous learning and improvement.
