Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of California. They must have at least two years of experience as a pharmacist, demonstrating a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles and patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively within a team.
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, counseling patients on their prescriptions and health concerns, maintaining inventory control, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing pharmaceutical care to customers. They will also contribute to community outreach events, mentor pharmacy staff, and utilize data and conversations to understand community health needs and stay informed about emerging health issues.
