Candidates should possess more than seven years of experience as a Frontend Developer, demonstrating proficiency in ReactJS and Storybook, along with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. They should have experience building frontend applications at scale and working on a sophisticated platform, and should be knowledgeable in performance optimization techniques and automated testing methodologies. Applicants must also possess empathy for users, be proactive and willing to go the extra mile, understand agile principles, and be able to communicate complex ideas clearly. Experience with open source projects, complex data structures, security and privacy principles, React Native, design systems, and the listed tech stack is a bonus.
As a Staff Frontend Developer at Assembly OSM, you will contribute to the definition of SLOs and metrics for the frontend team, make significant contributions to development tools and build processes, encourage and support other engineers, collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to build new features, and support the delivery of a highly available service. You will also pair up with other Frontend Engineers to implement complex UI features and provide guidance on best practices and processes.
