The ideal candidate will have experience in data governance strategy execution, data quality management, and governance tooling. They should be proficient in working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, analytics, security, and legal. Familiarity with regulatory compliance such as GDPR, CCPA, and SOC 2 is also required, along with experience in metadata and lineage management.
The Staff Data Governance & Quality Specialist will drive the data governance roadmap, design and implement scalable frameworks for data trust and security, and establish data ownership models. They will implement automated data quality checks, monitor data quality KPIs, and resolve high-impact data issues. Additionally, the role involves serving as a product owner for data governance tooling, overseeing metadata and lineage tracking, ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations, and championing data stewardship best practices through education and enablement efforts.
