Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, coupled with over 10 years of professional experience. Proficiency in Python is essential, along with demonstrated experience in debugging and troubleshooting production systems and providing on-call support. Familiarity with distributed systems infrastructure such as Redis, Postgres, RabbitMQ, and Celery, as well as Flask, is required. Experience with ML models in production, LLM frameworks like Langchain or HuggingFace, and infrastructure management on cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Staff Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing and building a cloud platform for monitoring and analyzing ML and LLM models, including developing scalable APIs and frameworks for model analysis and validation. This role involves creating new metrics for ML model quality and robustness, collaborating with product and customer-facing teams to enhance the product, and recommending and implementing engineering best practices to improve existing software functionality and maintain quality standards.
