Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in either public or corporate accounting, or both
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
  • A working understanding of US GAAP theory and application; bonus if you know IFRS!
  • Experience with NetSuite and consolidated financial reporting for multi-currency, multi-entity, or multi-national operations
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen the Company’s internal control environment
  • Participate in the streamlining of workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform vendor trend analysis to ensure completeness of monthly expenses
  • Assist in preparing monthly flux analysis
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation
  • Review and approve employee expense reimbursements and company credit card transactions
  • Assist with audit preparation
  • Assist in reviewing and processing accounts payable
  • Prepare check run files for review by the Accounting Manager or Controller and process electronic payments and ACH
  • Maintain vendor records (including retrieving W-9s) and respond to inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial information
