Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit preferred)
Strong proficiency with Excel and general comfort with accounting systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring proper coding and documentation
Maintain accurate general ledger activity, including journal entries and reconciliations
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
Record donations, ACH deposits, and contributions in coordination with the Development team
Support grant and program accounting, ensuring expenses align with funding allocations
Maintain organized digital and physical files to support audits and compliance reviews
Assist with budget preparation, agency monitoring visits, and other special projects
