Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in UAT, business analysis, or quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM)
  • Ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound decision-making & ability to react quickly under pressure
  • Sharp attention to detail with strong ability to prepare presentations, lead meetings & drive to productive outcomes
  • Ability to think end-to-end & position complex business solutions with consideration for impact on all relevant business functions
  • Demonstrated experience in project management leading large testing programs including test strategy/plans, test cases, requirements traceability, developing test schedules & resourcing testing teams with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
  • Experience in retail, credit and/or loyalty program systems (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with automation tools or scripting for UAT (plus)
  • Certification in ISTQB, Six Sigma, or similar quality frameworks (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, design, & execution of end-to-end UAT for complex, cross-functional projects ensuring activities are completed according to project schedule
  • Translate business requirements into detailed UAT scenarios & test cases
  • Collaborate with project teams; product managers, developers, QA teams, internal & external business stakeholders to validate functionality & performance
  • Partner with Technical Project/Program Managers to integrate UAT process & standards into project life cycle (agile & waterfall methodologies), status updates & communication process
  • Identify, document, & track defects; ensure timely resolution & retesting
  • Provide clear & concise status updates, test metrics, validations & final sign-off recommendations
  • Advocate for the end user by ensuring usability, accessibility, & business alignment
  • Continuously improve UAT processes, tools, & standards across the organization
  • Regularly collaborate outside the immediate team to solve problems & establish best practices
  • Mentor junior analysts & contribute to a culture of quality & accountability
