Requirements

Candidates must be based in Brazil and possess B1 level English proficiency. Required technical skills include proven production experience with GoLang, a strong background in designing and architecting high-availability, high-throughput systems using Java and GoLang, and hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3, Step Functions, and Lambda. Solid experience with microservices architecture, proficiency with relational (MySQL) and non-relational (DynamoDB) databases at scale, and a strong understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability are essential. Deep expertise in testing strategies like unit, integration, contract, and chaos testing in distributed systems is also required.

Responsibilities

The role involves owning the development of efficient, readable, testable, and well-documented code aligned with the team’s technical direction. Responsibilities include leading the design and execution of robust test strategies for high business logic coverage and system reliability, and actively participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle. Candidates will continuously improve existing codebases through code reviews and mentoring, collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve best practices, and ensure system stability and performance through monitoring and incident response. The position requires serving as a technical reference within the team and fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous learning.
