Requirements

Candidates should have 2+ years of professional software development experience, strong Java experience, great communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. They should possess comprehensive experience with object-oriented analysis and design skills, object-oriented programming languages, and a comprehensive understanding of Java frameworks. Experience with AWS, Continuous Delivery, Big Data/Machine Learning products, and instrumenting code for performance metrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Backend Software Engineer will deliver efficient, maintainable, and robust Java-based microservices, produce designs and estimates, implement features based on product requirements, collaborate with peers on designs and code reviews, and create unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage. They will also be integral in building a new cloud-based SaaS identity analytics product within an agile team, contributing to the development of reliable and scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products.
