Requirements

Candidates must be Life Science or Clinical Science graduates or post graduates with 5+ years of experience in Case Processing using Argus database, hands-on experience in PMS & CT Cases, and availability to work in night shifts (IST 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM). They should possess a thorough understanding of pathophysiology and the disease process, strong knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. A good command of English and the ability to translate information into local languages are also required, along with a thorough understanding of global regulatory requirements and compliance with procedural documents and regulations.

Responsibilities

The Sr Safety Specialist will perform and potentially oversee day-to-day Pharmacovigilance activities within a highly regulated environment, including collection, monitoring, assessment, evaluation, and tracking of safety information. They will collaborate with various parties, participate in on-call duties, develop program and departmental procedural documents, prepare for and attend audits, mentor less experienced staff, review regulatory/pharmacovigilance publications, maintain medical understanding of therapeutic areas, review cases for quality and accuracy, participate in project implementation and coordination, prepare for and attend client/investigator meetings, review metrics and budget considerations, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor in challenging circumstances.
