Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 4 or more years of prior work related experience
  • Strong financial experience in areas such as forecasting (Income Statement/Balance Sheet), P&L analysis, reporting, financial modeling, portfolio analysis
  • Prior experience in the Mortgage Industry / Financial Services industry and FP&A, Quantitative Finance

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain monthly management reporting, to include financial results, key metrics, performance indicators, and variance analyses
  • Assist with financial planning activities, including forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analyses, financial stress testing, and reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting of Radian's results and updated forecasts, Board of Director Reporting, etc
  • Assist with the process for forecasting key drivers and metrics, relying on standardized tools and processes and seeking to maximize both efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist business leaders across the organization and work with FP&A leaders to understand key business drivers of revenue, as well as provide insights into drivers of revenue, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist with the modeling and analysis of capital planning across the company, including share buybacks, dividends, stat capital dividends, PMIERs scenario analysis, ILN/XOL, tax and loss bonds, and other ad hoc analyses
  • Assist with the modeling of capital deployment in conjunction with strategic initiatives and other high impact projects across the company that require a very intense work ethic to meet tight deadlines, including analysis used to facilitate discussion with both internal and external parties
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
