Candidates need a PhD or MS in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years (PhD) / 8+ years (MS) experience in semiconductor, advanced materials, metrology, or failure analysis. Required expertise includes advanced characterization techniques such as AFM, WLI, AOI, SEM, thermal and electrical characterization, plus proficiency in statistical data analysis, SPC, and tools like JMP, Python or MATLAB.
The role involves working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with teams including R&D, process engineering, and manufacturing.
A strong candidate will have a PhD or MS with extensive experience in metrology and advanced characterization in semiconductor or advanced materials settings, proficiency in data analysis tools like Python or MATLAB, familiarity with backend processes, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.
