Requirements

  • Expertise in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) for leading strategies, policies, plans, and procedures
  • Ability to deploy, lead, and implement EHS programs for a campus, including supply chain, research & development activities
  • Strong leadership skills to manage the New Drug Substance EHS team effectively
  • Capability to collaborate and influence key leadership teams, including the New Drug Product Site Leadership Team and J&J EHS
  • Willingness to be on-site in US PA during project design phase with design teams, construction, and operational start-up
  • Flexibility for travel (less than 10% in steady state) and potential relocation arrangements based on current location

Responsibilities

  • Lead the EHS organization for J&J Innovative Medicine’s Advanced Therapy plant
  • Deploy, lead, and implement EHS strategies, policies, plans, and procedures across the campus
  • Ensure the EHS team takes all necessary precautions for continuous, reliable, and compliant supply chain, research & development activities
  • Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance
  • Support project phases including design (present with US PA design teams), construction, and operational start-up (on-site in US PA)
  • Achieve results through effective leadership of the EHS team and collaboration with site leadership teams
