Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in application development or technical support for mainframe applications such as Vantage-One, wmA and DSS
- Proficiency in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and CICS
- Strong understanding of mainframe databases like DB2 with experience with mainframe tools and utilities such as TSO, ISPF, and SDSF
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams
Responsibilities
- Provides application software development services or technical support for applications such as Vantage-One, wmA and DSS
- Reviews system requirements and business processes and develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
- Analyzes requirements and maintains tests and integrates application components
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
