Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, and three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer or related IT position developing with Java. In the alternative, Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or related IT position developing with Java
3 years of experience working with JavaScript; Spring; HTML; JEE; SQL; Vert.x framework; and REST services
3 years of experience with automation scripting and 3rd party API integrations using Python
3 years of experience developing large-scale Java applications in Spring framework
3 years’ experience developing database packages and relational database
Must work from NYC office 3 days/week (Hybrid role: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Responsibilities

Build back-end services and algorithms for securities brokerage company
Design and develop complex full-stack applications
Develop software to facilitate users on their authentication, authorization, and payment processing
Architect, design, and develop software framework to support group goals
Prepare reports and present demonstrations to internal and external 3rd party software integration teams
Advise on technical limitations and design
Work with business teams to create new features and interfaces as required
Participate in peer code reviews and mentor new developers
